RHO Branding

RHO, formerly Red Hot Operations, came
to me for a full rebrand. The name change was already decided, the agency had outgrown its original identity and the nickname had stuck. My job was to build a brand around it that matched where they were headed.

Shortening the name to RHO was not just cosmetic. It was a statement of intent, and the visual identity had to carry that same energy.
I built the brand around high contrast, bold typography, and a direct, no-nonsense aesthetic that reflects an agency that knows exactly what it does and does not need to over-explain itself.

From there, I designed and art directed the agency's website, working closely with and guiding the development team to bring the vision to life. The site needed to do a specific job: showcase a roster of top-tier photographers, directors, videographers, stylists, and hair and makeup artists in a way that felt as premium as the talent it represents. The design is clean, direct, and image-led, putting the work front and centre and keeping navigation frictionless so agencies, producers, and brands can find who they need quickly.

The visual language carries consistently from brand to screen, high contrast and confident, reflecting an agency that has been trusted by the advertising, fashion, and editorial industries across South Africa and the continent for over 20 years. The result is a brand identity and digital presence as sharp as the name.
